DETAILS
Native to central and South America, the Money Tree is a braided tree that can grow up to 6-8 feet indoors or be trained as a bonsai. In east Asia, the Money Tree is often used by those who practice Feng Shui to bring positive “Chi”, or energy, into the room, thus being a popular housewarming gift. On top of that, it is a hardy plant that requires relatively low maintenance. It can tolerate direct sunlight, but prefers bright indirect light, lots of water, and warm temperatures.Â
- Botanical Name: Pachira aquatica
- Live Plant!
- Non Returnable
- Colors and shape will vary
- Some plants can be toxic if ingested. As always, consult your vet before bringing a new plant into a home with pets.
- Each plant may vary from pictures shown as plants are hand selected based on season, size, health, and readiness
WATER
- The Money Tree prefers deep but infrequent watering. Water your Money Tree when the top 50%-75% of the soil is dry. Water the plant until it runs from the drainage holes and discard any excess water from the saucer. To prevent root rot, make sure your plant is never standing in water.
SUNLIGHT
- Money trees thrive in both full sun and partial shade, according to the California Rare Fruit Growers Association, so outdoor plants do not need direct sunlight. Plants grown indoors, however, do best in full, bright light.
